The longer 82 mm stroke provides even more torque. Especially good for cars with larger tires or extra weight. This engine is identical to our 2180 with the exception of the slightly smaller bore and thicker cylinders for better heat dissipation. |

In an effort to massage every ounce of power from a VW engine, we extensively modify the crankcase, crankshaft, connecting rods and cylinder heads. Special forged aluminum pistons, GEX 110 cam and polished stainless steel racing valves make this engine a tough combination to beat. This engine is not intended for a daily driver. |

Almost everything replaced. Installed 1835 Engine from GEX last year and just purchased custom Late-Model Transmission with custom gearing. Pete has been an excellent source of information and I would definitely purchase and recommend GEX in the future. |
Custom balanced 1835 w/Hydraulic lifters. Transmission w/Lower 4th gearing. Dual oil filters w/External cooling. New paint, racing seats, 5 pt harness, interior roll bar, and full VDO instruments.
