GEX Installation Kits

Why waste valuable time & money looking all over town for the little stuff when GEX has it all together in one handy kit. Use our installation kits to install your engine the right way!   Now, with the engine out of the car is the time to replace those worn out accessories.  The Type 1 installation kit includes clutch disc, pressure plate, clutch release bearing, compartment seal, spark plugs, ignition wires, trans main seal, fan belt, fresh air hoses, oil pressure switch, fuel filter, exhaust clamp kits, fuel hose (3 feet), vacuum hose (1 foot) and  intake boots.

When installing a rebuilt engine we recommend that the oil cooler be replaced at the same time to prevent contamination and debris from getting into the new engine. These are GERMAN Original Equipment coolers that have been fully reconditioned. They are thoroughly cleaned, pressure tested, painted and the late ones have a new foam element installed.
