The bore & stroke of this engine is the perfect combination of performance, reliability and driveability.  It provides excellent low end torque and performance throughout the entire R.P.M. range and is designed for years of trouble free service.   With the same cylinder wall thickness as the 1600, you get added assurance against overheating.

1835 cc Dual Port
  69 mm Stroke x 92 mm Bore
  39 mm Intake & 32 mm Exhaust Valves
  Empi Dual 40 mm Carburetors
  GEX 110 Cam

Essentially the same engine as the 1776 cc, it has a larger 92 mm bore,   it's one of the most popular VW engines available today that still utilizes the stock stroke and offers a few more ponies.

GX 10687XTK 1835 cc Dual Port $ 3,699.00

1914 cc Dual Port
  69 mm Stroke x 94 mm Bore
  39 mm Intake & 32 mm Exhaust Valves
  Empi Dual 40 mm Carburetors
  GEX 110 Cam

This is also the same engine as the 1835 cc with the  larger 94 mm bore. The 1914 is built  only from cases  with  8 mm head studs. This engine offers good reliability with the most power while still retaining the stock stroke.

1904 cc Dual Port
  74 mm Stroke x 90.5 mm Bore
  39 mm Intake & 32 mm Exhaust Valves
  Empi Dual 40 mm Carburetors
  GEX 110 Cam
  74 mm Stroker Counterweighted Crankshaft

This motor produces additional torque with the use of a special counterweighted and balanced 74 mm stroker crankshaft.   This crank requires only minor case clearancing so the engine retains its strength and reliability.  The thick walled 90.5 mm bore make this an excellent street performer with power to spare.
