C.B.'s 044's are 55% stronger than stock VW heads !  Competition tested to over 8000 RPM and reliable enough to drive to the supermarket.  Ready to run right out of the box with big ports, oversize 40 x 35.5 mm stainless steel valves, Hi-Rev springs, chromoly hardened keepers, silicon bronze valve guides, 3/4" long reach spark plug bosses, strengthened combustion chambers and tapered cooling fins.  Engineered by C.B. Performance and manufactured by an O.E.M. supplier to Volkswagen.
